Photography in The Confetti Fields
The PROVISIONAL dates for the Confetti Flower Field 2025 are 26th June – 6th July.
We will confirm the dates in late May / early June when we are happy that the flowers are on track to full bloom as normal. Tickets and passes will then go on sale on 6th June.
Please note that we only open for a few days when we think the flowers will be in full bloom. This is because the flowers only bloom for a short time – you cannot visit us out of season simply because there are no flowers!

We are very happy for people to take photos for non-commercial purposes. Whether you want some lovely family photos or you enjoy playing around at close up macro work on the flowers…
Most importantly – you do not need to purchase an additional photography pass if your pictures are for your own personal use.
Commercial Photography
Anyone who would like to use our Flower Fields for commercial purposes must purchase a Location Pass for each day you wish to use the field. This includes, for example: shoots with clients (e.g. family photo shoots or engagement pictures), portfolio work, photography you will use to promote yourself, your skills and services online, on your business social media or on your professional blog.
If you would like to use the fields for larger projects and shoots you need to give us a call to discuss your plans and requirements. This includes, for instance: a product or fashion shoot, classes/courses, television/movie filming, or other media projects. Any project that has the potential to disrupt the usual atmosphere of the flower field or impact upon the experience of our visitors will need to be booked as a Private Hire. Access outside of our opening dates and times is strictly by prior arrangement and subject to availability. Please email info@confettidirect.co.uk to register your interest.
In short – any and all photography used to promote you and/or your business is considered commercial. A Location Pass/Private Hire is required.
Buy Day Location Pass:
Cost: £59.00 per person per day.
Each day pass that you buy will allow you entry to the field ALL DAY – between 10am & 5pm.
Sunset Events – evening access:
Cost: £99.00 per person per evening.
Each evening pass that you buy will allow you entry to the field between 6.30pm & 9.30pm.
Need to Know:
Please remember your clients will also need to pre-book their admission.
- You must buy a Professional Photography Pass online in advance of your visit or you will be charged double at the gate.
- Your clients must buy their admission from our website in advance. Our tickets are sold with timed arrival slots throughout the day. Starting from 10am through until 3pm and the field will close at 5pm.
- Tickets will be checked in your car.
- Car parking is free.
- There will be a dedicated meeting point inside the flower field for you to meet up with your clients.
- There is no smoking or vaping allowed in the flower field or on any of our surrounding land.
- Sorry – no pets of any kind are allowed at this event. In the flower field or in the carpark. You are NOT permitted to leave them in your car.
- Drones and any other remotely controlled aircraft are not allowed in the flower field or over any part of the Wyke Manor Estate.
- There is strictly no access to any of our surrounding fields.

Private Hire
Cost: £POA dependant on the size and scope of your plans.
Lifestyle, Fashion, Dance & Product Shoots are not allowed during the public open days. There is only a small window of opportunity to use the flower field around these dates and therefore access is strictly by prior arrangement and subject to availability. Please email info@confettidirect.co.uk with an outline of your project and we can discuss availability and costings.

Media/television/filming projects – please remember that flowers only bloom for a very short period of time, and therefore we sadly cannot accommodate requests out of season! Please contact Nancy to talk through your ideas.
Helpful information to assist Professional Photographers planning Photo Shoots:
The entry slots at 10am, 11am and 2pm on the weekends are usually our busiest times. Consequently, please keep this in mind when making plans with your clients.
Our gate does not open until 10am. You will not be allowed in early. Therefore, please do not start your bookings at 10am as it will take time for you and your clients to get in and meet up.
We recommend that you ask your clients to book their admission tickets BEFORE you buy your Pass. Therefore, if a particular entry day/slot has sold out, you can make alternative arrangements. To make this easier for you, a Photography Location Pass allows you entry to the field ALL DAY – between 10am & 5pm. These Photography Passes will not sell out, so there is no need to worry about availability. However – the passes for our evening Sunset Events are limited and will be sold on a first come first served basis. We recommend you plan carefully for this before accepting any bookings.
A Photographer’s Location Pass gives you, the photographer (1 person), access to the field during opening hours on your chosen date/dates as printed on the purchased pass/passes. If you work as a photography team, each photographer/assistant needs their own pass.
We are open to the public from 10am – 5pm. The evening hours are 6.30pm – 9.30pm. There is NO ACCESS outside of these times.
There is NO ACCESS to any surrounding fields.
We will set up a dedicated Photographer’s Meeting Point inside the field – this is the best place for you to arrange to meet with your clients.
Please remember:
Passes are transferable but not refundable. If you wish to change the date on your pass, please call us on 01386 555045 with at least 24h notice.
This is an outdoor event in the British summertime – please discuss this with your clients and prepare accordingly. We cannot guarantee the sunshine! If it is just a little rain we will generally be open as usual, so we would encourage you and your clients to wear wellies and bring colourful umbrellas for an equally fab photo opportunity! However, if you do want to transfer your pass to an alternative day, you must telephone us at least 24h beforehand to re-book your pass/es.
Extreme weather conditions may mean that we must close the field on the day you are booked to visit. If this occurs we will call you at the earliest opportunity. You will receive a refund for any pass valid on that day.
Terms and Conditions – Professional Photography in our Flower Fields
In addition to our General Admission Terms (below), to make everyone’s visit to our flowers more enjoyable, we ask that you adhere to the following –
- Please do not bring excess baggage or equipment.
- We will not allow large props and large pieces of equipment into the flower field (eg. suitcases, furniture, step ladders, giant light reflectors). A small foldable step is fine. Please don’t use our chairs to stand on – it’s too wobbly underfoot.
- Please do not bring photo display cases, business branded check-in desks, flags, or large signage.
- There are no changing facilities on site. It is not appropriate to change clothes/costumes in the flower field. Please do not bring changing tents. Lifestyle, Fashion & Product Shoots are not allowed during the public open days.
General Admission Terms:
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
- No smoking or vaping.
- We thank you for leaving your dog at home. No animals (except registered disability assistance dogs) are allowed in the Flower Field or the carpark, and you will not be allowed to leave them in your car.
- People come from all over the world to enjoy the flowers. Please be considerate in your behaviour. We retain the right to refuse admission or remove from the field anyone not behaving appropriately.
- There is no access to any surrounding fields. Please do not climb fences or hedges or walk in our farm crops.
Inside the field:
- Please help us look after the petal harvest by being careful when walking around the flowers. Keep to the mown pathways.
- We thank you for not cutting, picking, or digging up the flowers. Flowers and confetti are for sale at the marquees.
- To protect our visitors and our crops, ball games, sports equipment, bicycles, scooters, and large toys etc must be left in your car (or at your own risk at the entrance).
- Please do not bring barbecues, stoves or picnic chairs and furniture. Alcohol is not allowed.
- Please respect the peace and quiet of the field by not bringing radios, music players or musical instruments.
- We’re sorry but we only want to see birds flying overhead. Drones and other remotely controlled aircraft are not allowed in the flower field or any of the Wyke Manor Estate.
- You may see some confetti pickers in the field harvesting the petals. Please ask their permission before taking their photograph.
