Proposal Petals – for a romantic marriage proposal
Most importantly, all our Proposal Petals are 100% real flower petals – they will biodegrade as naturally as blossom. Therefore, your magical moment will not create any litter or mess.
Delphiniums are smaller petals, light and floaty, and they are homegrown on the Wyke Manor Estate. As are our lovely Delphinium Flowers. We handpick every petal from the flowers you can see growing in The Confetti Flower Field. On the other hand, we also offer Rose Petals and Hydrangea Petals. These petals are a bit bigger, and consequently they will add a bigger splash of colour to the special moment.
We will supply your Proposal Petals in 10 Handful Bags. This is a 1 pint measure of petals. You can simply buy as many as you need to create your romantic setting! Please see the How much do I need? tab below for more help and guidance on quantities.
Details:
- 100% natural and biodegradable flower petals.
- Our proposal petals are totally natural. Therefore, the shade of colour and size of the petals may sometimes slightly vary from those illustrated.
- Delphinium Petals are homegrown on our farm, handpicked and naturally dried in the summer sunshine and fresh air.
- Our Rose Petals and Hydrangea Petals are freeze dried real petals.
Size:
- Delphinium Petals are approximately 1 – 1.5cm round.
- Delphinium Flowers are approximately 2cm round.
- Rose Petals vary in size from approximately 1.5 – 4cm wide by 2 – 4cm high.
- Hydrangea Petals measure approximately 2 – 5cm round.
- A 10 Handful Bag measures 24cm by 16cm and holds 1 pint measure of petals.
Care:
- Delphinium Petals will keep at their best for 12 months.
- Rose Petals and Hydrangea Petals will keep at their best for 4 months.
- Our petals are very easy to look after: Simply store them at room temperature and out of direct sunlight.

How much do I need?
A 10 Handful Bag is a pint measure of petals. The larger the petal the less you get by number per handful. Please see here for an illustration of petal handfuls.

*The following quantities are based on 5ft round tables seating approximately 10 people. We have worked this out on the basis that your table will have plates, cutlery and glasses on the tables.
1 Square Metre = approximately 10 Square Feet.

When to order and delivery
Please go ahead and place your order now – we will ask you for your event date so we can ensure we are supplying you with petals that will keep in perfect condition for your special day.
Delivery:
If the wedding is less than a week away we recommend you select the Next Day delivery option.
Standard Royal Mail delivery within 5 working days: £4.50
Royal Mail ‘Next Working Day’ delivery – order by 3pm for delivery by 4pm the following day: £8.95
Royal Mail Saturday delivery – order by 3pm Friday for delivery by 4pm on Saturday: £11.95 (Currently unavailable)
Please note the ‘Next Working Day’ and Saturday Delivery services are fully trackable and require a signature upon receipt.
